INTERTRIBAL BUFFALO COUNCIL

The InterTribal Buffalo Council (ITBC) is a coalition of more than 80 Member Nations committed to restoring buffalo to Tribal lands for cultural enhancement, spiritual revitalization, ecological restoration, and economic development. The ITBC and Member Nations have collectively restored over 20,000 buffalo to nearly 1 million acres of Tribal land.

ITBC is committed to securing legislation to cement the trust responsibility of the United States to Tribes for buffalo restoration and management. Learn about their most recent work here.
